We’ve finally been able to see some brighter weather and it’s definitely lifted my mood. I’ve been so busy recently working on a new project and packing my shop’s new subscription Posy Box. I’ll be sure to write a dedicated post all about it later on this week.
#1 I’ve been trying to get back onto the Slimming World plan over the past week or so. I lost 3 stone on it last year, but although I’ve not gained any weight since. I’ve been feeling really sluggish and know its because my food choices haven’t been too great. With takeaway meals here and there, we’ve been struggling to make some healthy dinners. Especially, when our oven stopped working last week. It doesn’t seem to want to cook anything throughly, so we’re un-able to cook any meat. Which, I thought wouldn’t be too much of a problem for me. As, I don’t each much meat – apart from strangely enough, beef burgers and skinless chicken. But, it failed at cooking the pasta in our lasagne the other night. We’re hoping we’ll have it fixed or replaced real soon though.
#2 Our decorating has taken a little bit of a back seat this week. There’s so much I want to plan and research into finding. I’ve been pinning over on my Pinterest and endlessly bookmarking links to fabrics, wallpaper, paint swatches and plenty of furniture. I’m also so un-sure on the style of blinds for the windows throughout our home. We have three sets of doors leading to our patio, and I don’t want to hang curtains. I’m hoping I’ll find some inspiration from somewhere so I can make my final decision and finally make our home cosy in the evenings.
#3 I mentioned that I’ve been working on a new project recently and I’m very close to launching it here on my blog. You may already know but I run an Online Shop alongside my blog and I’ve been self-employed for over six years. I’ve wrote a few business related posts in the past, but I receive quite a few messages and emails asking for advice on starting a business. I’ve finally come up with an idea which allows me not to have to write super lengthy blog posts within my normal posting shcedule. But, be able to dedicate a space within my blog which I can keep business tips and resources within. I’m excited to be launching a collection of E-Courses. They’ll be downloadable with accompining worksheets to help make notes for ideas. I’ve very nearly finished finalising my first E-Course, which includes the whole process of having an online business idea to launching your website and setting on-going goals. I’m also working on a few seperate E-Courses, such as sourcing stock for an online business, creating an effective website yourself on a budget and managing your marketing. They will be available on my blog in a seperate Business Library section. They will also be a mix of paid and free courses. But, I won’t be charging over the odds – don’t worry! If you want to find out when my first E-Courses will be launching, be sure to sign up to my Newsletter. I’ll be sending out an email as soon as they are available.
I started writing this post with not much to say, but it’s quickly built up. It’s funny how that happens! Anyone else being cheered up by the brighter weather?
