Last weekend I headed up to Manchester to attend the Ideal Home Show in Event City at the Trafford Centre. This was my first visit to the event, after not being able to attend the London show earlier this year. The show features room sets, live seminars from interior experts and celebrity hosts. It’s also bursting with plenty of ideas for your home. I couldn’t wait to head to the show and check out what the brands had to offer.
The Ideal Home Show is split into different sections: Interiors, Food & Housewares, Shopping, Gardens, Home Improvements and Fashion and Beauty. Although, I didn’t head round the Fashion and Beauty stalls, the interiors and food sections were my favourite.
The roomsets were all nicely styled. I loved the simplicity of the roomset by Debenhams and the vibrant colours by BHS.

I visited the Stressless Ekornes stand, who kindly sponsored my visit to the show. All their products are made in Norway and are designed with comfort in mind. They offer super cosy recliners, armchairs, sofas and office chairs. I loved their bright chrome and leather recliners. You can definitely tell how well they are made.
The main UK stockists of Ekornes, Arighi Bianchi, had the most perfect sets ups on their stand. Their sofa and lights were just beaitiful!
Has anyone else visited an Ideal Home Show? What did you think? Considering it was so busy, I enjoyed wandered around each stand. There was so much to look at, buy and even eat!
